Biography

William Lynes, MD (b 1953) is a retired Stanford-trained physician, urologist, author, and advocate on physician burnout and suicide.  

 

His first novel is Pirates, Scoundrels, and Kings, a fantasy/adventure work of fiction.  Subsequent medical genre fiction works include Luger Rounds, 606 University, Sweet Amber, The Plumber, and Huntsville.  

 

His most recent work is Winterbourne, due for release in May 2022. A Surgeon’s Knot is an award-winning medical genre thriller. He is the father of three grown sons and lives with his wife Patrice in Temecula California.
